His most famous roles are as Chrissie Todd on Boys from the Blackstuff, Lucien Boswell on The Liver Birds and as the UK Narrator of Thomas and Friends from 1991-2012 including one US release in 2004. Mark Moraghan took over in 2013 and his best known roles were in Holby City, Harry Enfield and Chums, Brookside and Dream Team.
